If you live on the East Coast of the US or Japan, one surefire annual occurrence marks the official start of spring; the blooming of the cherry blossoms. With the warm weather and rainy days already clearing out the snow-covered streets, Nike is getting ready for the carpets of cherry blossoms covering the ground with a new Air Force 1 colorway.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Cherry Blossom (W) is the latest pair of Forces to add floral decoration to the midsole, ringing in spring with a pink cherry blossom growing out of the AIR logo at the lateral heel. More pink is added to the tongue tag and, in a two-tone fashion, to the custom laces. The rest of the pair is a standard white-on-white Air Force 1 for a classic warm-weather look.
We’ve seen Nike add roses to the lateral midsole of the Air Force 1 for three years straight now, debuting with a white-on-white pair in 2023, adding a pink colorway in 2024, and a black rose last year. In addition to the Cherry Blossom colorway, Nike is returning to the OG white-on-white rose pair for this year’s flower pack, but with its own two-tone laces to match.
