There is an endless debate about the most influential and iconic shoe in sneaker history, but at the end of the day, there are three main candidates: the Air Jordan 1, the adidas Superstar, and the Nike Air Force 1. On Nike’s latest pair of Forces, Beaverton is reminding us all just how iconic the AF1 is, complete with green ostrich leather and an Icon label at the heel.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Icon Green Apple is an inline pair that looks like a collab, featuring a full coat of sour apple green leather across the entire silhouette, with more green on the midsole, tongue, laces, and tongue tag. On the Swoosh and heel tab, the same green color pops, but a switch to ostrich leather adds a luxurious feel.

The only transition away from green comes on the gold lace dubrae and the matching “1Icon” logo at the lateral heel. Adding the same lateral heel logo placement found on many collabs, the lux inline pair makes the AF1’s iconic status known. The insoles add even more Air Force energy, with an X-ray image of the shoe sitting inside.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Icon Green Apple will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $140. For all the latest Nike Air Force 1 news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
