The debate about Nike Air Force 1s and cleanliness has a long, complicated history. From the lore of white-on-white obsessives who only wear a pair once before it loses its shine and needs to be retired, to the wave of college kids wearing dirty white 1s as a status symbol, all the way to Nike SB’s new made-to-skate Air Force 1s. For Korean boutique TUNE, the debate has a clear answer; Forces are meant to be scuffed.
The TUNE x Nike Air Force 1 Low Canvas takes the silhouette back to the 1990s in Seoul, when canvas colorways of the classic shoe were some of the city’s most popular and sought-after footwear. In addition to the full coat of canvas, TUNE is encouraging customization on each pair, including pieces of sandpaper with each pair to create unique scuffing.
Before the scuffing, the pair starts with a full covering of thick canvas in dark olive green from toe to heel, with premium olive leather on the Swoosh and heel panel to match. The silver lace dubrae is a throwback to the shoe’s ‘90s design, and the insoles add a multi-color mix of green and blue to the insoles.
The TUNE x Nike Air Force 1 Wardrobe Unlocked was released today, May 1, 2026, through TUNE in-store and online. We’re still waiting on word of a wider release, but as of now nothing is confirmed. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $115. For all the latest Nike Air Force 1 collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
