To honor Kobe Bryant's legacy, Nike has begun launching special Air Force 1 Low colorways for the legendary NBA player. Kicking things off was a two-pack of Lakers-themed AF1s, one in white and another in black, back in December 2024, but we’ve been blessed with a ton of new releases in 2025. Next up for the Kobe AF1 Protro series, which has so far been released in an FC Barcelona collab and in a colorway inspired by the famous picture of Bryant taking free throws in his pajamas, is a re-release of his Linen AF1 that first dropped in 2007.
Not a true 1:1 retro of the 2007 Air Force 1 Low Supreme Kobe, the 2025 rendition of the pair opts for a different suede finish and new tooling. The linen-shaded upper remains identical to the original, with Kobe's portrait applied to the lateral heel. Blue accents pop on the stitching of the Swoosh and lace dubrae, details from the OG '07 drop, while Nike Air logos on the tongue and heel tab come debossed.
