Nike loves disguising its sneakers in layers of self-referential charm, and this Air Max Month, Beaverton is going all out on the premise. After previewing an Air Max Day drop of Neon-themed offshoots of the iconic OG 95, Nike’s latest remix is an Air Max 90 take on the Total 90 Laser soccer cleat.
The Nike Air Max 90 T90 Laser Zest is a callback to the iconic yellow cleat, worn by the likes of Wayne Rooney, and the T90 line’s strong retro resurgence over the past few years. Starting with diamond-scale yellow on the toe and side panels, yellow leather fills in the rest of the side panels and heel. The T90 influence is instantly recognizable on the black toebox, where a series of concentric circles creates a bullseye with a T90 logo in the center.
The tongue, laces, and sockliner add more black to match the toebox, with a red logo on the tongue tag to bring it all together. Like the zesty T90 cleat, the midsole and outsole both add more yellow, with a clear hit on the Air Max bubble in the heel.
The Nike Air Max 90 T90 Laser Zest will be released May 21, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $150. For all the latest Nike Air Max news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
