Nike’s GT (Greater Than) basketball line has been one of the brand’s most successful non-signature lines, adding four numbered models, including the latest space-age GT Cut 4, as well as the NBA-favorite GT Hustle. For its latest take on the GT Cut, Nike is returning to the OG with another retro colorway of the GT Cut 1, this time with a little extra carbonation.
The Nike GT Cut 1 Sprite is a mismatched women’s exclusive with a monochrome blue upper on the left shoe and bright green on the right shoe, reminiscent of the old school green and blue gradient Sprite logo. The pair flip-flops the outsole color and Swoosh branding, with green on the blue shoe and blue on the green shoe.
The Sprite theme comes out on the back of the midsole on the lateral side, with paint splatter in the opposite color acting as a bit of carbonation. In addition to the Sprite colorway, Nike has returned to a retro run of GT Cut 1 colorways amidst the GT Cut 4 rollout, a clear sign of success for the line as a whole.
The Nike GT Cut 1 Sprite (W) will be released June 12, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200. For all the latest Nike Basketball news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
