The Golden Arches. A symbol that is forever ingrained in everyone’s minds, as you can find a McDonald’s on every single continent (except Antarctica). But for residents of Sedona, Arizona, their McDonald’s doesn’t feature Ronald McDonald’s famous golden signage. Instead, because of local ordinances protecting the aesthetics of the Red Rocks around Sedona, McDonald’s and every other local business have to use a specific color palette, and the fast food chain chose to change its Golden Arches to teal. That lone teal arch is the inspiration behind Devin Booker’s latest Nike Book 2 colorway.
Devin Booker’s McDonald’s Nike Book 2 mimics the McDonald’s found in Sedona, Arizona to a T, with the upper coated in a beige hue. Accenting hits of dusty cactus are found on the Swoosh, the sockliner, the McDonald’s arch logo on the heel and tongue, and the outsole. This version of the Book 2 uses the molded leather upper that has been found on releases like the WNBA 30th Anniversary and Phoenix colorways.
It’s also interesting to note that adidas has been the sponsor of the All-American Game since 2012, so there are no All-American logos present at all. But of course, the pair is clearly an homage to the event. Finishing the sneaker is the white midsole with a semi-translucent blue outsole that encapsulates the Cushlon 3.0 foam and Zoom Air units.
The Nike Book 2 Sedona McDonald's will be released on June 6, 2026 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $155. Check below for early images of the shoe, and download the for updates on the latest sneaker drops.
