Nike Adds a Book 2 Colorway to its WNBA 30th Anniversary Collection

The WNBA’s 30th season is less than a month away, and with the approval of three new expansion teams over the next five years, there’s never been a better time to up the ante on your W fandom. If you need more reasons than A’ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark, Nike is giving you a bit of a boost with a collection of WNBA 30th Anniversary collab sneakers across the brand’s basketball catalog.

The Nike Book 2 WNBA 30th Anniversary is the latest addition to the birthday pack that already features an A’Two, Sabrina 3, GT Cut 4, Dunk Low, and Air Force 1. On the Book 2, Nike starts with a white base and adds a navy blue Swoosh with a red stitched border. The hiking-style lace loops are blue and black, while the midsole adds a red to blue gradient sandwiched between white borders.

WNBA anniversary branding is added throughout, with an “Est. 1996” tag below the side panel Swoosh, a WNBA graphic all-over print insole, and a 30 on the backside of the tongue tag. So far, we’ve only seen a couple of preview photos, so we can’t say if more co-branding is added to the tongue logos, but judging by the other pairs from the pack, it’s a strong bet.
