If you were fortunate enough to live in South Florida during the early 2010s (like this author), you remember how special it was to have LeBron in the area. There’s no doubt that James is responsible for a whole generation of kids in SoFlo getting invested in the sport of basketball, especially considering he brought two NBA chips to the city of Miami. Commemorating his years with the Miami Heat and those back-to-back rings, Nike has crafted the Miami Twice colorway of the Nike LeBron 23.
Debuted in the official unveiling of King James’ 23rd signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron 23 Miami Twice combines smokey blue, pink, yellow, and orange to capture the South Beach vibe. The Crown Containment System, the highlight of the LeBron 23 that incorporates James’ crown logo on the upper, features a pearlized pink finish, while the engineered mesh portions are smokey blue. A graphic pattern of palm trees, a clear nod to Miami, is found on the mesh portions of the base, while the sunny environment is translated onto the yellow and orange tongue.
