While Shadeur Sanders continues the family tradition of playing in the NFL, Deion Sanders Jr. went a different route. He quit playing football in his junior year of college and founded Well Off Forever, a media and streetwear company that has been a driving force behind much of the content we get of Deion Sanders Sr. and his coaching duties at Colorado. He’s also been behind-the-scenes showcasing plenty of Nike sneakers from his father’s line, but Sanders Jr. is now joining the Nike family with his very own collab.
Deion Sanders Jr.’s Well Off Forever gives the Air DT Proto 92, a newly released silhouette based on a sample prototype from his father’s playing days that never hit shelves, a clean black-and-white makeover. We saw the model hit shelves in white and black two times before, but this pair opts for a more split two-tone look compared to the Black and 49ers White colorways. Black details land on the nubuck toecap and lockdown strap, the neoprene tongue, and the sockliner, with white accents popping on the Nike-branded strap. More white is found on the leather toebox, midfoot panel, and collar.

When you open the lockdown strap, you’ll find hidden text, with the mantra “The rejected will be respected” embroidered in gothic font. The phrase is often found on Well Off Forever gear, and of course, the brand’s logo makes an appearance on the shoe in the form of gold embroidery on the heel tab. Aside from these two nods to the label, the rest of the shoe sticks to the traditional Nike branding, including a Swoosh on the midfoot, Nike Air on the insole, and Prime Time logos on the tongue. Finishing the shoe is the black midsole and an outsole with black and semi-translucent rubber.
The Well Off Forever x Nike Air DT Proto 92 will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
