Johnny Storm has always been the smartass of the Fantastic Four, but when it comes time to fight, the Human Torch turns into a ball of flame that rivals any hero for “yeah, that would be cool” powers. He also happens to have one of the best colorways from Nike’s 20-year-old Fantastic Four Pack, and now, the blazing Air Max 95 colorway is coming back with the rest of the collection for a retro return.
Fresh from the Nike archive, when colorways had tongue-in-cheek references without official collabs, and the brands weren’t nearly as worried about being sued for it. Now, Nike is bringing back the referential collection featuring a Mr. Fantastic Air Max 90, the iconic Invisible Woman Air Force 1 Low, a Dunk High for The Thing, a Foamposite for Doctor Doom, and of course, an Air Max 95 for the Human Torch.
The Nike Air Max 95 Human Torch features a flame on gradient starting with a red patent leather toe that pushes onto the bottom stripe of the wavy side panel. From there, the side panel gets lighter as it rises towards the laces, settling on orange mesh at the top. So far, we haven’t seen images of the retro, so we’re going on eBay images of OG pairs from 2006.
First reported by zSneakerHeadz, the Nike Air Max 95 Human Torch will be released Summer 2027 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $200. For all the latest Nike news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
