The sneaker loafer trend is here to stay. We’ve said that a few times, but it still feels like a stretch every time we do, and yet, the office-ready runners continue to pop up on catalogs from brands across the sneaker spectrum. At Nike, the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC) introduced the Air Max Phenomena to keep the Swoosh on trend, slipping into the loafer trend without sacrificing Air Max comfort.
The Nike Air Max Phenomena Cobblestone is the latest colorway of the women’s exclusive hybrid silhouette, adding a mix of soft, premium grey leather with metallic silver accents and a black sole for a formal finish, of course. Keeping things subtle, the only branding on the shoe is a metallic Swoosh in the middle of the forefoot strap.

Like most sneaker loafers, the shoe is split into two distinct sections, the formal upper and the sporty midsole. On the upper, a coat of pebbled grey leather covers the top half, with metallic silver added on the forefoot strap and the lower support structure. The midsole takes its structure from the Air Max Sunder, this time going all-black with clear Air bubbles.
The Nike Air Max Phenomena Cobblestone (W) will be released Summer 2026 overseas through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $155. To keep up on the latest sneaker loafer updates, download the Sole Retriever App.
