Nike Gives the Air Max TL 2.5 a Neon-Inspired Makeover

Next week, one of the greatest Nike sneakers to have ever been released is coming back: the Air Max 95 Neon. The Swoosh knows just how important and revered the model is, and is planning a whole celebration that includes neon remixes of other Air Max sneakers and matching apparel. Joining the neon versions of the Air Max 90 and Air Max Plus is the Air Max TL 2.5.

Unlike the actual Nike Air Max 95 Neon, which comes in a greyscale gradient, this neon-inspired colorway of the Air Max TL 2.5 is primarily white. There are still hits of grey to mimic the 95s, as seen on the bottom half of the mesh upper. TPU overlays in a greyish-silver hue run from the toe to the collar, passing by the black Swoosh trimmed in neon green. Aside from this, the only other pops of green on the upper appear on the “2006” text on the tongue and the mini Swoosh on the heel tab. Finishing the sneaker is the neon insole, a black foam midsole, and the neon-shaded Air unit above the black, white, and neon outsole.
