Jordan’s Getting Back on the Pitch
The Jordan x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial Vapor 1 is the latest addition to the Cryoshot family. The new footwear technology developed in Italy brings back classic soccer cleats and injects a clear plastic sole to encase the spikes like a fossil stuck in amber. The resulting shoes look just like their cleat reference, but for the stands instead of the pitch.

On the Jordan addition to the collection, the Jumpman brings back the very first Nike Mercurial Vapor. Featuring a monochrome red leather upper, the Swoosh is red suede, while the stitched side panel details bring waves of texture. The heel tab is shiny metallic silver, and the sockliner adds perforated leather to bring it all together. Encased in the icy sole unit is a photo of the “frozen moment” commercial from 1996, which was used to promote the Air Jordan 12.
