Kevin Durant and his signature line continue to rise the ranks and score buckets deep into his career. By tapping into previous models tied to his personal history, KD continues to reinvent his signature line, never being too beholden to a model to switch it up. Though the Slim Reaper may be on vacation after being bounced in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, his 19th signature sneaker is just now preparing to slay.
Since being officially unveiled earlier this spring, the KD 19 has kept a tight lid on colorways with only three being unveiled so far: the bright red Rockets colorway, an orange Texas Longhorns PE to celebrate his alma mater, and a white and blue colorway that serves as an ode to the Air Jordan 18 Sport Royal.

Now, a new monochromatic purple iteration of the dagger-shaped shoe has appeared online. Much like the KD 18 was an ode to the Air Terra Humara, the Nike KD 19 draws from the Y2K era of sneakers with its molded TPU upper. The upper isn’t just stylish, as the dual injection process adds lockdown in the heel and midfoot while also creating its distinctive shape.
One of the model’s biggest inspirations is the Nike Zoom Hyperflight, which is laid bare in the Nike KD 19 Field Purple. The colorway echoes Jason Williams’ recently re-released Nike Zoom Hyperflight PE that he wore during his Kings tenure. The Nike KD 19 Field Purple is fully dressed in the royal shade with the TPU upper getting an extra metallic sheen. Inside, the shoe features a Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole and a full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit.
The Nike KD 19 Field Purple releases on June 17, 2026 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Retail is set at $155. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for all the latest news in streetwear and footwear.
