KD 19 Release Dates
Kevin Durant unveiled his 19th signature sneaker with Nike, the KD 19, in March 2026. The shoe features a full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit, Cushlon 3.0 foam, and a two-piece injected TPU upper. Inspiration comes from Nike Basketball's Y2K era design language. The first colorway was released June 2026 for a retail price of $155.
Lifetime Nike athlete Kevin Durant now has 19 signature sneakers to his name with the Nike KD 19 being the latest. Nike and KD took inspiration from Y2K-era basketball sneakers, like the Zoom Hyperflight, for the look of the model. That's clear with the injected TPU upper that wraps around the internal mesh, creating a patent leather-esque look that was common on models of the past.
For cushioning, Nike employs a full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit that pairs with a Cushlon 3.0 foam carrier. As for traction, the outsole uses a custom tread that uses KD's jersey numbers, 35 and 7. The first colorway was released June 2026 for $155.
