Canadian fashion label Aritzia has struck a perfect balance between high fashion and basics, bringing its minimally branded, earth-toned looks to a series of global retail stores. Nike has noticed Aritzia’s success, and after an initial collab on the retro LD-1000 runner late last year, the brand is back with a second colorway for the spring in another monochrome brown shade.
This time around, the Aritzia x Nike LD-1000 takes a warm weather approach in tan leather. Covered in premium leather from toe to heel, the Coconut Milk colorway keeps the same minimal branding as the OG collab pair, with a small mini Swoosh added on the lateral side of the toe and a subtle Nike script logo on the tongue.

Nike’s original long-distance running shoe, the LD-1000, was also one of Nike’s first recalls, with pairs pulled off shelves after the OG release because the dramatic heel block started causing injuries. Nike didn’t abandon the shoe, though, releasing an updated version immediately to great success, followed by retro lifestyle drops for the past few decades.
The Aritzia x Nike LD-1000 Coconut Milk will be released March 2, 2026 through the Aritzia app, with a global release through Nike and Aritzia the following day. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $165. For all the latest fashion sneaker collab news and drop info, don’t forget to download the Sole Retriever App.
