The Nike Moon Shoe has been having a moment this year. The waffle-soled running shoe traces its legacy back to the earliest days of the brand that would become Nike, back when it was still called Blue Ribbon Sports. But while the Moon Shoe never dropped during its initial sample run in the ‘70s, French fashion house Jacquemus brought the silhouette back last year, and since then, Beaverton has gone all out on the OG.
The Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe Emerald Rise (W) returns to the shoe’s collab ties after a strong run of inline releases. While Nike was tapping Olympic superstar Alysa Liu to rep the inline colorways, Jacquemus was stepping back to Earth as part of Nike’s expansive X2 World Cup Cryoshot collection.
On the new Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe Emerald Rise (W), the high fashion label brings back the stretchy collar and soft satin fabric from past collab pairs. This time, the colorway starts with soft blue on the wrinkled base, periwinkle on the suede support panels, and emerald ostrich leather on the Swoosh. Jacquemus co-branding is added on the tongue and heel to round it all out.
The Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe Emerald Rise (W) will be released Spring 2027 through Jacquemus, Nike, and select retailers in-store and online. Retail is set at $180. For all the latest Nike collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
