Designed as a prototype in 1971, the Moon Shoe was crafted when Nike was still called Blue Ribbon Sports, but it never got its time to shine with a retail release. The Nike Moon Shoe OG Sail Gum (W) is the latest pair of the low-profile waffle sole racer in Nike’s favorite off-white shade. Featuring Sail across the soft fabric upper, the side panel bumpers at the toe and heel are grey suede, while the Swoosh brings a strike of black to the pair.

The tongue tag is Sail with black script and an orange Swoosh for a tiny hit of color, while the classic tan gum outsole draws attention to the waffle sole. In addition to the gum pair, Nike has already brought out two more Sail colorways with black Swooshes, but both of those have had black outsoles to match.
The Nike Moon Shoe OG Sail Gum (W) will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $105. For all the latest Nike retro news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
