Nike’s retro cycle is jumping back a little further than the traditional 20-year cycle lately, jumping at the Jacquemus-led revival of the Blue Ribbon Sports-era Moon Shoe, complete with a waffle sole and thin, low-profile upper. After a few seasons of reconstructed collab colorways with the fashion house, Nike is bringing the silhouette back in-house for a new run of OG inline colorways.
The Nike Moon Shoe OG Soft Pearl (W) is the second inline colorway of the retro we’ve seen, joining a Summite White and Team Crimson pair with a gum sole in the summer catalog. On this colorway, Nike keeps it as simple as possible, starting with a Pearl White base on the upper and adding black accents on the side panel Swoosh, heel label, and outsole, with a black and red tongue tag adding the only bit of color.

As we take a turn in sneaker popularity from chunky dad shoe runners to slimmed-down, low-profile retros, especially in women’s shoes, the Moon Shoe is a perfect fit for the current times, no matter how old the original design is.
The Nike Moon Shoe Soft Pearl (W) will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $105. For all the latest Nike retro news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
