The low-profile trend taking over the sneaker industry is nowhere near new. While brands add lace and doilies to fit in with the balletcore vibes, Nike is doing one better, looking back to the brand’s original silhouette, 1971’s unreleased Moon Shoe. After coming back to prominence with the help of the French luxury fashion house Jacquemus, Nike is keeping the ball rolling with an in-line drop of the OG waffle sole shoe.
The Nike Moon Shoe OG Summit White is the latest white leather makeup of the ‘70s silhouette, this time with subtle hits of cream and grey on the accent paneling, all sitting on top of a perfectly retro brown gum sole.

Featuring a base of plush Summit White leather with triangle cut borders on either side of the toe and heel panels. The semi-circle stabilizers on the front of the side panels and the heel are a light grey, while the Swoosh and laces are a creamy off-white.
