Bad Bunny isn’t the only Puerto Rican pop star with the power to debut new shoes. After getting a brief, zoomed-in preview of the upcoming Kids of Immigrants x Nike T90 Mule last week, we now have a zoomed-out, on-foot look at the hybrid soccer shoe, all thanks to an early debut by singer Rauw Alejandro.
Alejandro was spotted out over the weekend stopping for snacks, and on his feet was the first publicly seen pair of the Velvet Brown Kids of Immigrants x Nike T90 Mule. Even from a distance, the on-foot look gives us a much better idea of how the iconic soccer shoe has been reworked into a slip-on mule, with a lowered back that still reaches slightly above the ankle.

Shining in the sunlight, the KOI T90 Mule is covered in a mix of suede and patent leather bubbling across the upper, with red and yellow two-tone Swooshes on the fold-over tongue and the lateral side panel, and a lowered heel that’s easy to slip on and off. Another new addition is the multi-closure snap system for the fold-over tongue, with a snap at the bottom to hide the laces, and then what appears to be a second snap closure towards the ankle for a high tongue look that shows off the laces.
The Kids of Immigrants x Nike T90 Mule Pack, including this Velvet Brown colorway, will be released May 28, 2026 through Kids of Immigrants, Nike, and select retailers in-store and online. An early release at Awake NY will take place on May 16. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
