The University of Oregon athletics family is full of superstars who moved up to the professional ranks, but these days, few Ducks are making more of a splash at the next level than Sabrina Ionescu. The sharp-shooting guard is a star for the perennial playoff-contending New York Liberty, but her West Coast roots run deep. From her Bay Area childhood to her college days in the Pacific Northwest, the latest Nike Sabrina 3 colorway is taking things back to campus in Eugene.
The Nike Sabrina 3 Barely Volt combines Oregon’s alternate jersey colorways of black and neon green with subtle hits of icy blue. The reinforced mesh one-piece upper is blacked out, with more black on the vamp and heel stitching. The volt green comes in on the lace loops that stretch under the surface from the top of the midsole, plus a full volt outsole for a bright glow underfoot. Sabrina’s “S” tongue logo and the side panel Swoosh are done in mint foam blue for a bit of contrast.
As Sabrina juggles the WNBA’s upcoming CBA change and her free agency ahead of the 2026 season, most league insiders expect Ionescu to re-sign with the Liberty, but with more money than ever coming into the league, you never know. In addition to this upcoming Oregon-friendly colorway, the school’s duck mascot also designed a pair of Nike By You Sabrina 3s that went live online last month.
The Nike Sabrina 3 Barely Volt will be released January 1, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult and grade school sizing, the retail prices are set at $135 and $102, respectively. To stay up on all the latest Nike Sabrina news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
