Halloween is fast approaching, so hopefully you picked out your costume or are in the process of getting one before trick-or-treaters hit your front door. While you could opt to go with some pop culture reference that, in 6 months, will be outdated, the classics are classic for a reason. Over at Nike, they’re going down the classic horror film rabbit hole, prepping sneakers inspired by scary flicks as we’ve seen upcoming pairs of AF1s inspired by both Scream and Hellraiser. Nike Basketball is even getting in on the action, dropping multiple sneakers with NBA athletes that directly reference some of the iconic villains and monsters. Following looks at Devin Booker’s Oogie Boogie-inspired Book 2, Cade Cunningham’s PE colorway of the ST Charge, inspired by Leatherface, has appeared.
Like the apron worn by the villain of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Cade Cunningham’s ST Charge PE features a brown finish on its durable rubber overlay, which extends down onto the deep brown sole unit. As you move up, you’ll notice stitched-on leather panels that appear torn-up and unfinished, just like the mask worn by Leatherface. A two-tone red and brown lace set rests below the Cade Cunningham signature logo, with the laces running through two metal lace loops at the top. One of these is given an oxidized makeover to add to the aesthetic.

Back on the heel, the pull tab features ST Charge and Swoosh logos that stand out on the chainsaw-inspired graphic. While the insole forgoes any references to Leatherface, instead opting for a green finish, the packaging includes a paper mask of Cade Cunningham transformed into the cannibal villain. Final details include blood splatter on the metallic chrome Swoosh on the lateral side and red lining on the inside of the tongue.
The Nike ST Charge Cade Cunningham Halloween PE will be released October 23, 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $145.
