If you've spent any time following NBA players on Instagram, you've probably seen Chris Brickley. The NYC-based hoops trainer to the stars has been hosting heavyweight pick-up runs out of a gym in a Manhattan high-rise under his Black Ops brand for years, with the likes of LeBron, KD, Klay Thompson, and handfuls of other all-stars stopping by on the regular to put in work. So why should the NBA players be the only ones with pro shoes, dare we say PEs?
Continuing a long-running collaboration with Puma, Brickley's latest signature sneaker drops in September, putting a monochrome tan canvas colorway and personal touches on Puma's All-Pro Nitro 2.
The Chris Brickley x Puma All-Pro Nitro 2 is made with the court in mind, stacked with layers of Puma's NITRO foam in varying densities to promote stability and agility. The premium leather upper features suede patches on the side logo, toebox, and tongue, plus a fuzzy 1948 patch on the heel for the year Puma was founded. As for Brickley's personal touches, the heel features his signature in black and his motto - Keep Going, Keep Growing - written vertically up the tongue.
In addition to previous collaborations between Brickley and Puma, this pair is particularly cool because it comes on the heels of a July All-Pro Nitro 2 release designed by former NBA player and current skills trainer God Shammgod. Puma has been showing out heavy for Tyrese Haliburton and Lamelo Ball, but they're shining light behind the scenes, too.
The Chris Brickley x Puma All-Pro Nitro 2 drops September 5, 2025, through Puma's online store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $140. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
