20 years is a long time to run a sneaker boutique, not to mention open new locations, launch endless collabs, throw more parties than you can remember, and put an entire state on the map in the sneaker community. In Louisiana, Sneaker Politics is synonymous with kicks in the bayou, and for its 20th anniversary, the shop is teaming up with Puma for some much-deserved mantel decoration.
The Sneaker Politics x Puma H-Street Trophies is a glimmering gold tribute to the store’s history. Starting with a shiny metallic gold fabric on the toe and side panels, a tonal Big Cat graphic on the toe and metallic side panel stripe logo start the branding, with a Sneaker Politics and Puma co-branded hit on the tongue and a “20 Years” graphic on the red and blue insoles. Beyond the gold, a hit of brown leather pops from the lace panel and heel, and white mesh is added to the tongue and sockliner for some calming contrast.
Over its two decades serving Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans, plus a Western expansion into Texas, Sneaker Politics has linked with heavy players across the industry, dropping collabs with adidas, Reebok, ANTA, Saucony, Asics, and more, plus endless exclusive or early drops from brands like Nike. If you’re located in the south, it’s safe to say that Politics should be your first stop for exclusive heat.

The Sneaker Politics x Puma H-Street Trophies will be released May 23, 2026, through Sneaker Politics in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120. For all the latest Sneaker Politics collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
