Puma and atmos Pay Tribute to Japan’s Denim Obsession with Speedcat Collab

It’s only right, then, that Japan’s premier sneaker boutique, atmos, builds the country’s denim energy into its latest collaboration.

The atmos Pink x Puma Speedcat Denim Lover is exactly as it sounds, a Puma Speedcat covered in dark indigo denim like a Canadian Tuxedo. The shoe features gold stitching throughout to match your favorite pair of jeans, with a white side panel logo stripe and Big Cat logo on the toe. The women’s exclusive collab features three pairs of laces, a traditional pair in blue, a cotton pair in a pink hiking style design, and a brown leather string, both made to replicate different belt options.

Like any good pair of jeans, the atmos Pink Denim Lover Speedcat is designed to shift colors, distress, and age with time. If the denim frays, lightens, or develops imprints, those signs of wear will represent each wearer’s foot and lifestyle, with no two pairs aging identically. “The more you wear them, the more they will develop a unique character, and they will conform to your feet just like your favorite jeans,” atmos explained.
