British singer-songwriter Ama Lou may not be a household name just yet, but she’s had an influence in the world of music for years. She even received a Drake co-sign in 2018 when she was on tour with Jorja Smith, and the Canadian rap superstar even credited her as an influence on him during the creation of Scorpion. After being a brand ambassador for Salomon for the last few years, Ama is heading into the world of collaborative footwear with a project in partnership with the French label.
Ama Lou has been given creative liberty to reimagine the XT-Whisper Void, a silhouette that dates back to the early 2000s. Salomon revived the women's-focused model in December 2024, and since then, it’s become a focal point for collaborations with partners like Kith and Sandy Liang. Ama’s take on the sneaker coats the fused overlays in a vanilla ice hue, while the open-spaced mesh base take on a coral hue.
