There’s an ongoing discussion about variations of the classic Wheat 6-Inch Timberland Boot. Of course, there’s the classic nubuck pair with a black collar and double sole, the premium variety, and the dreaded boneless pair with a single sole underfoot. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, legendary Japanese retailer BEAMS is adding a new variety to the mix - the buckled Timb.
The BEAMS x Timberland 6-Inch Heritage Mid Buckle GORE-TEX Boot looks like a standard 6-Inch Timberland Boot on the bottom half, but when you get to the lace panel, things go sideways fast. Instead of a traditional hiking lace and brass lace loops, the BEAMS collab flattens the lace panels, removing the holes and replacing them with a two-ring buckled strap that sits across the forefoot.
A BEAMS 50th square hangtag matches the colorway, material, and stitching of the boot, with BEAMS logos added to the top of the tongue just below a Timberland tree logo. Of course, like any classic Wheat Timb, the tree logo is also added to the lateral heel, and a black leather collar surrounds the ankle.
The BEAMS x Timberland 6-Inch Heritage Mid Buckle GORE-TEX Boot will be released April 10, 2026 through BEAMS in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $240. For all the latest Timberland collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
