Photographer Atiba Jefferson took on a role as Brand Curator at Vans this year, and the legendary skate photographer has already dropped a photo printed Authentic colorway covered in shots of skater John Cardiel and Turnstile bassist Franz Lyonz that sold out immediately. Next up, Atiba is looking out for the skaters with a pair of Old Skool 36+.
The Atiba Jefferson x Vans Old Skool 36+ Black Olive covers the tech-upgraded skate silhouette in black suede on the toe, heel, and forefoot ollie patches, with black canvas covering the rest of the upper and a dark green olive Vans logo stripe bisecting the side panels. The olive green theme continues to the lateral heel logo and the pull tabs that run the length of the tongue and heel. Underfoot, the PopCush insole adds a soft landing to the classic vulcanized sole.
