Everyone is getting in on the bing bong energy. From Kalshi and merch bootleggers to viral-starved street performers and wanna be Sidetalk stars, everyone is looking to cash in on the New York Knicks. At Vans, the NYC skate energy runs deep, and after debuting Dick Rizzo’s latest Half Cab colorway at a party in Jersey City over the weekend, the skate shoe originators are crossing the bridge to drop a new colorway in celebration of NBA Finals Game 3 at MSG Monday night.
The Vans Classic Slip-On New York Knicks is a tribute to NYC and the cross-over between the city’s skate scene and sports fandom. From collabs with Quartersnacks, playoff watch parties at Tenant skate shop, and Tyshawn Jones’ footage on a now-gone rail outside of Madison Square Garden, the city’s skate community has always been down with the Knicks.
The NYC Vans Slip-On features a blue and orange checkerboard mix to match Knicks jerseys on the toebox and the heel counter, with blue canvas on the low side panels in between. The midsole keeps things classic in white, but more blue is added on the sidewall foxing stripe.
The Vans Classic Slip-On New York Knicks was released today, Monday June 8, 2026 via Vans online and at select Vans retailers in New York and New Jersey. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $60. For all the latest Vans news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
