Jordan Brand has the kind of consistency rarely seen in any corner of the business world, never mind the sneaker industry. Jordan has more than double the signature silhouettes than there are iPhone models, and who knows if those will last another 23. Starting with the Air Jordan 1 in 1985, Michael Jordan has released a new signature shoe for the past 40 years. Make that 41.
The Next Chapter of the Jumpman Legacy
The Air Jordan 41 surfaced out of the blue this week in three mockups on GOAT, giving us a first look at the next pair in Jordan’s legendary line. The lateral profile previews show a futuristic new silhouette with a high ankle bootie and a swooping side panel that hangs a one-piece, stretchy soft fabric running across the toebox to either side panel. In addition to a traditional lace panel, a pulley at the back of the ankle controls the fit.
