Jordan Release Calendar

Originally released in 1995, the Air Jordan 11 became one of, if not THE most popular sneaker of all time, seemingly overnight. Designed to be worn on-and-off the court, the AJ 11 appealed to the masses with its sleek look and shiny, patent leather detailing.
The 11 is the first sneaker in the Air Jordan line to feature patent leather, making them stand out from the crowd on and off the court. While the original AJ2 was made from Italian leather, the 11 took the luxury level up a notch. The shiny patent panel that waves around the entire upper sits atop a translucent outsole that made this sneaker a favorite among collectors and cemented the silhouette as an instant classic. The shoe happens to be a favorite of Michael Jordan's as well and has been traditionally very protected by the brand, only recently being the subject of collaborative efforts.
The Air Jordan 11 is one of the least released sneakers of the original 14 that Michael Jordan played in, so there's not many chances to secure a pair. Typically, a pair releases every year during the Spring in a low top variant, with a more traditional high top dropping during the holiday season. With that being said, Nike's Website and SNKRS app are the primary sources for these sneakers. Retailers like JD Sports, Foot Locker, and Champs, as well as tier 0 stores like Kith, tend to get pairs as well when releases happen, but expect most of these options to operate via online raffle due to the AJ11's popularity.
The Air Jordan 11 was originally released in 3 colorways: Colombia, Concord, and Playoff (aka Bred). By the year 2000, we'd see the new "Space Jam" colorway, originally debuted on court in 1995 yet made famous worldwide by its appearance in the 1996 movie Space Jam starring MJ and the Looney Tunes. Since then, notable colorways include Cap and Gowns, Win Like 96s, Pantones, Gammas, and probably the most famous non-OG colorway, the Cool Grey 11s.
The Air Jordan 11 seems to run a tad narrow around the toe, so if you have a wide foot, we recommend going up a half size to prevent discomfort in the toebox. The shoe hasn't changed much internally since 1996, so this should hold true from most variations of the shoe regardless of materials.
The Air Jordan 11 does not restock often, but when they do, Nike's website and the SNKRS app are the best options for retail access. Larger retailers like Foot Locker and Champs may restock on rare occasions. Download the Sole Retriever app to receive any restock info on all of your favorite AJ 11s.
The Air Jordan 11 has only seen one retail release for a collaboration. In 2026, Japanese label Comme Des Garcons collaborated on two pairs of 11s in tonal black and white colorways. Outside of this, there have been several player exclusive pairs for professional athletes like Ray Allen and Jalen Hurts as well as a few unreleased pairs by Drake featuring his OVO logos. Now that Jordan Brand has opened up the heralded 11 silhouette for possible collabs, it will be interesting to see which brands get a crack at it.
