The New Balance 1890 has been on a roll since the day it debuted. Arriving in the catalog with a set of Action Bronson collabs and then quickly following it up with a new collection from Joe Freshgoods and a JJJJound collab preview after a few in-line drops, the latest colorway comes hot on the heels of another Bronsolino BAKLAVA preview.
The New Balance 1890 Outerspace is an intergalactic mix of brown and blue, starting with a dark khaki tan shade of mesh on the base and a mix of deep blue and grey on the teardrop-shaped synthetic toe paneling. More blue and grey are added to the heel panel, and a spacey aqua blue completes the look on the ABZORB pods in the midsole.

Beyond the dark blue and brown, the pair adds a hit of bright baby blue on the sockliner, white on the side panel “N” logo, and creamy off-white on the midsole. As New Balance continues to drop strong runs of new silhouettes, the 1890 has established itself as the best of the bunch.
The New Balance 1890 Outerspace will be released Summer 2026 through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizes, the retail price is set at $180. For all the latest New Balance news and release details, download the Sole Retriever App.
