New Balance 1890 Release Dates
New Balance introduced another ABZORB-cushioned model to the mix with the all-new New Balance 1890. The silhouette borrows design elements from the archival 890v2 and pairs that with the tooling from the original New Balance 2002. Retail for the sneaker is set at $180.
To help kick off the brand-new New Balance 1890 sneaker, the Boston-based brand tapped collaborator Action Bronson for two colorways of the sneaker. Following Action Bronson's New Balance 1890 collab in the early part of 2026, the brand officially launched the sneaker in GR colorways in March 2026.
The New Balance 1890 features ABZORB cushioning, taking its sole unit directly from the original New Balance 2002. The upper is inspired by the New Balance 890v2, a mesh runner that has been off the market for years now.
