Satoshi Nakamoto is a weird one. The luxury streetwear brand named after the mysterious founder of Bitcoin has found a niche, becoming popular among rappers and athletes, filling a “wait, why does it say that?” role that is always needed in high-fashion graphics. For the brand’s latest collab, Satoshi got in early on the jewelry store aesthetic that’s propelled Vans OTW back to prominence, and after months of previews and an early shock drop, we’ve finally got an official look at the Lucky Charms collab.
The Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era 95 Lucky Charms starts with a classic black canvas Vans Era 95 with white stitching, but that’s where the normalcy stops. Channeling the shoe’s skate history, the collab adds distressed rips to the toe box and ankle collar, and then opens the jewelry box, putting multi-color charms set in silver around the edge of the toebox and ankle collar.

Satoshi Nakamoto branding is added in white stitching to the black tongues, and then in black block letters repeating around the dirty white vulcanized midsole. A classic Vans tag hangs off the lateral side of the toe, and a string of friendship beads in orange, blue, green, and pink sits on the bottom lace.
The Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era 95 Lucky Charms will be released sometime before the end of the year through Satoshi Nakamoto, Vans, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is still TBD. For all the latest Vans collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
